My passion for books led to a publishing career, but my creativity was really sparked by the possibilities of artistic expression through making my own artist's books. I aim to capture the joy of a moment in time and place, or respond to themes, people and events. I enjoy the process of immersing myself in experimenting with a range of techniques, media and materials. My exploration of unusual book structures often pushes the boundaries of what a book can be, and includes my rope-bound book installation made from Citroën 2cv car doors.
