Mike Clements

I make artist's books that tell stories; and I enjoy creating books with unusual structures.  My artistic ideas come from observation of the world around, often focusing on quirky aspects of life.The first part of my life was spent in academia and the Diplomatic Service.  I changed direction in mid-life, went to art college and then ran a fine art printmaking programme for the Sidney Nolan Trust near Presteigne.  My artist's books are in public and private collections worldwide, including Tate Gallery, Bodleian Library, Yale Center for British Art and many university collections.
