We're a group of book artists based in the Marches, the English-Welsh border region of the United Kingdom. Formed in 2011, we get together every month to share knowledge, skills and information. We exhibit individually and together at numerous local and national events during the year, and aim to bring book arts to a wider audience.

The group comprises makers at every level, from those just discovering the joys of book arts to professional artists renowned for their artist's books. We come from, and share our skills in, a variety of disciplines such as textiles, 3D, paper sculpture, calligraphy, graphic design and printmaking.

Marches Book Arts Group will be at the Liverpool Book Art Fair 7th and 8th of July in the Liverpool Central Library. Be sure to also look for our collaborative work in the Frankenstein 2018 exhibition at the Library. More details are here.

Also, some of our members have their work at the Hereford Archives and Record Centre's '60 Years in a Box' exhibition. Details can be found here.

Why not join us?

New members are always welcomed, so if you're interested and inspired by book arts, why not come to a meeting? You don't have to have experience of making books to be a part of the group.

Go to Our Programme for meeting information and joining details.

If you would like to know more, or buy any of the books shown, please contact us.

You can also find us on Instagram and Facebook.
