What is the Marches Book Arts Group?

Display

We're a group of book artists based in the English-Welsh border Marches region of the United Kingdom. Formed in 2011, we get together every month to share knowledge, skills and information. We exhibit individually and together at numerous local and national events during the year, and aim to bring book arts to a wider audience.

The group comprises makers at every level, from those just discovering the joys of book arts to professional artists renowned for their artist's books. We come from, and share our skills in, a variety of disciplines such as textiles, 3D, paper sculpture, calligraphy, graphic design and printmaking.

Why not join us?

New members are always welcomed, so if you're interested and inspired by book arts, why not come to a meeting? You don't have to have experience of making books to be a part of the group.

Go to our Programme Page for meeting information and joining details.
