60 Years in a Box

The instruction - and challenge - from the Herefordshire Archive and Record Centre (HARC) was to celebrate 60 years of archive keeping in Herefordshire by creating a work of art in one of their red boxes that used to store glass plate negatives. The call was not specifically for artist's books, but ten artists from Marches Book Arts Group accepted the challenge and created the unique mixed media artwork seen here (although we didn't create the beautiful cake with roses) with the display running from mid-July to 26 October 2018.
