Frankenstein 2018

To mark 200 years since the publication of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein; or, The Modern Prometheus, Liverpool Book Art presented this themed exhibition of book art and artist's books. Marches Book Arts Group decided to create a collective 'body' of work. which was displayed in the Hornby Room at Liverpool Central Library from May to August 2018. We each chose or randomly selected a body part and created mixed media artwork based on our own distinctive interpretation, often more literary than literal.
