From archaeology to zoology - a big thank you to the staff at Herefordshire's HISTORY STORE who let us see inside the amazing county storage facility in Hereford.
As part of our summer outing, about 20 members enjoyed tours of the object stores: artworks, archaeology, costumes, games, ceramics and much more - everything you can think of, held for the county. Do go if you get the chance. And if that wasn't enough, the group went on to Hereford Cathedral for an inspiring afternoon.
Click here for our regular 2026 workshop programme to see what we are up to next.

Hello!
We are a group of book artists based in the English-Welsh border region of the United Kingdom, an area known as the Marches, and have a wider membership online via Zoom.
Formed in 2009, our group comprises makers at every level, from those just discovering the joys of book arts to professional artists renowned for their artist's books.
We come from, and share our skills in, a variety of disciplines such as textiles, 3D, paper sculpture, calligraphy, graphic design and printmaking. When possible, we exhibit at national book arts shows and local venues.
Winner of the
Christine Forrester Prize
for the most inspiring exhibit at the
Marches Makers Festival 2024
