Paul Rickard
Paul is a first & foremost a printmaker, making linocut, drypoint and lithograph prints.By adding bookbinding to his practice he is looking to present his prints in ways that differ from the standard ‘framed on a wall’ approach. To this end he is particularly interested in creating structures that his prints are mounted on or within.
Limpet is one such structure made from a reduction linocut print.
Kardomah consists of two prints inspired by decorative elements in the cafe of the same name in Swansea.
